About Us
Nordic Walk for Life's owner and principal instructor is Amy Okaya, MPH. Amy is an Advanced Nordic Walking Instructor certified by the American Nordic Walking Association, and holds a Masters degree in Community Health Education from the University of Minnesota.

Through her teaching, wellness program development, and events, Amy combines her experience in many forms of sports, dance and exercise; a professional career in health promotion and public health; and a love of nature, to create a rich and enjoyable recreational experience.
