Join other Nordic walkers and friends for a fun and relaxing weekend up on the North Shore of Lake Superior! We’ll enjoy the fall by walking trails, dining together, and exploring the area around Grand Marais - with the historic Cascade Lodge as our home base. The weekend includes:
- Friday evening social and presentations by local experts
- Nordic walking lesson: How to build strength and reduce strain by relaxing MORE!
- 3 guided walks on trails in the Cascade/Grand Marais area
- Time for shopping/sightseeing in Grand Marais
- Saturday evening Nordic walking entertainment
- Digital photography option (includes instruction on using non-Auto camera settings, sunset/sunrise shoot, web posting of participants’ images)
Beginners and non-Nordic walkers are also welcome!
Lodging is available at Cascade Lodge for the special fall room rate of $55/night for a standard double lodge room (cabin upgrade also available). Guests receive 10% off at the Lodge restaurant.
